Westwood Student Gmail

Student Gmail?

Students in Westwood Community Schools each have their own student gmail account. They will use this account to communicate with their teachers and to log into Google Classroom. Students should check their email regularly for communication from teachers and notifications from Google Classroom. Students in Westwood Virtual should check their email daily, as this is the primary form of communication.

Student gmail addresses look like this: studentID@students.wwschools.net

Passwords are student birthdays: mmddyyyy

How to Access:

Step 1

Go to www.google.com and click the blue Sign in button at the top right

If your default or home page is already set to Google, you may not see the log in button at the top right. If that is the case, then you will need to actually type google.com into the address field on your browser.

Step 2

Type your student gmail address (you might want to highlight it and copy it, because you'll have to type it again), then click Next.

Step 3

You will be redirected to a new login screen specific to Westwood schools. Enter your gmail address again and your password.

Your password is your birthday: mmddyyyy

If it's your first time logging in, you might be prompted to activate or accept your new account.

Now that you're logged in, you can access your gmail directly from the top right part of your screen. You may now also click the waffle of dots to find more options and apps, such as Google Classroom.
