Girls in STEM Earth Day Event

Our end of year event invites girls in grades 3-8 to the high school for an evening of hands on learning and inquiry.  Girls from our Girls in STEM club design and implement their own hands on projects of topics of interest to engage the young learners.  Some topics included hands on dissections of eyes, heart and kidney, tie dye, creating mini biomes to take home and genetic trait caterpillars.
