Mission

Through service and exploration, we hope to help young women find their passion within the world of science, technology, engineering and math- where women have been historically underrepresented.

Outreach

Our top priorities in Girls in STEM club are giving back to the community and reaching out to girls of all ages to help them learn about the world of STEM! Join us in participating in:

• Volunteering opportunities within our community

• STEM nights for all ages

• Demonstrations and projects at WMS

Career Exploration

Within Girls in STEM, members will have several opportunities to explore STEM fields in several ways:

• Hands-on activities during club meetings

• Guest speakers who share their experiences as women in the STEM field

• Listening to presentations from other members on STEM topics- or creating your own!

Come to our monthly meetings during CORE to participate in a different STEM activity each month! Each month we learn about a different letter of STEM and do an experiment or activity related to the month's letter.
