About Mrs. Stewart

I love my job and am so excited to be working with your child! I grew up in Washington Township and am very happy to be teaching where my education began. I have been a part of the Westwood Staff for the past 16 years working in second grade, third grade and kindergarten. Before coming to Berkeley School I taught at Ketler School and Brookside School. I am very excited to be teaching kindergarten again this year. I am a graduate of Elon University in North Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. I am a fully certified general education teacher grades K-8 in the states of New Jersey and North Carolina. I also received my Masters of Science in Education through Walden University, with a concentration in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment. In addition I continue to study my field and have completed addition graduate studies to stay current with best educational trends and practices.

My husband and I live right here in Westwood so sometimes you may see me eating ice cream outside of Conrads or having a slice of pizza at Lisa's. My husband and I are the proud parents of three active little gremlins . Andrew is 8, Christopher is 8 and Emily will be 4 this summer. This year is especially exciting as my middle son, Christopher, will be starting kindergarten and I will be sharing the parent journey with you! During the year I am sure you will hear all about the adventures we have watching them grow.

For fun I love to cook, read and spend time with friends and family. My favorite thing to do is travel.
