The Visual Art Pathway exposes students to a wide variety of careers and courses of study in the visual art and design industries. Students enrolled in this pathway will complete 20 credits in related art courses. These 20 credits must be beyond the established graduation requirement of 5 credits in the Visual and/or Performing Arts.
The pathway experience can culminate with an optional Work Based Learning (WBL) in the 12th grade, tailored to the students' individual interests and coinciding with the chosen pathway. The credits that students earn for participating in an WBL will count as part of the 20 credits required to complete the pathway.
