BASIC SKILLS REMOTE INSTRUCTION

Dear Parent/Guardian:

Once again Westwood Regional Schools will be offering our Basic Skills summer program; however this year's summer support will be offered remotely. Students who are in need of basic skills remediation are eligible for this opportunity. Your child must be identified for this service.

The basic skills program will run remotely from Monday, July 6th through Friday, July 31st. In order to service all students with quality and efficiency, the schedule has be refined to reflect half hour small group sessions. Your child will be required to attend the specified time via Google/Zoom meets. Please see the outline below of scheduled content area and time your child will be responsible for:

Grades 1-2:

Language Arts: 10:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

Math: 11:30 a.m. - 12: 00 p.m.

Grades 3-5

Language Arts: 8:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.

Math: 9:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

It is important to note that daily attendance is required; if you are not able to fully commit to the program, we ask that you please do not register.
