Welcome Westwood Community Members!

I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the new Assistant Principal of STEM for Westwood Regional Jr. /Sr. High School. It is my sincere pleasure and honor to become a member of this great school and community. I look forward to working with Mr. Connolly, our assistant principals, as well as the rest of our staff, in our efforts to do whatever it takes to advance the achievement of all students. Working together, I am confident that we will continue to provide our students with a truly enriching and challenging school experience.

During my career in Paterson I was a teacher of Pre-K, Special Education at the Middle School level as well as Honors Biology with lab and Anatomy and Physiology 1&2 with lab at the High School level. I am also an Adjunct Professor at William Paterson University teaching Applied A & P, as well Anatomy and Physiology Lecture and Human Biology. Lastly over the past 2 years I held the position of Assistant Principal of STEM at JFK High School, the largest high school in Paterson.

On a personal note, I am married and have three teen daughters, 16, 14, and 13 years of age.

I have learned as both a teacher and an administrator that when you are very open and organized, people will be successful because they have clear expectations and a sense of support. If we all work together with a singular focus being on providing the most rigorous, engaging, and authentic learning experiences to our students, we will be successful and our students will be college and career ready.

Thank you for welcoming me to the Westwood Regional School District. I look forward to working with you during the 2017-18 school year. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.
