During the year, I will be offering you challenges for the days when (and if) we have snow days.  Today is the first "true" snow day in a long time!!! Enjoy every minute of it.    

Below are some "challenges" that you can complete for Dojo points, marbles, and other rewards!!!!

Here are the guidelines for the snow day challenge:

You must keep it safe and make sure your parents are ok with 

what you are doing.

You must record your challenge - take a video or pictures and then email them to me.  You might need help with this one.

You MUST have fun and be creative.

Keep it safe! (I know I said that already, but it is really important)

If you complete the challenge, you will be rewarded for your efforts

Here are the options for this Snow Day Challenge.  Please choose one, two, or as many as you want!

Challenge 1 -  You know I love to teach about weather and we have seen many videos and reports this year.  Create your own weather report. Be creative. Make it fun.

Challenge 2 -   Reading is always fun!  Today, make it extra fun! Find a fun place to read a book.  It can be in a pile of snow, next to a snowman, sitting in a snow chair, or anywhere interesting in your house or yard (or beyond)!

Challenge 3 - Valentine's Day!!! Tomorrow is Valentine's Day! Use the snow or anthing around the house to create a fun Snow Day Valentine!!!

Challenge 4 - Science - We have been studying the solar system and the planets.  Can you create the solar system in a fun and creative way?  The more creative, colorful, and fun........the better!!!

Challenge 5 - Math is everything! Use the snow to create or illustrate some fun math problems.  Can you multiply fractions with snow?  Can you do division with snow?  As always, be fun and creative.
