My name is Barnett Goldman and I am so excited to be returning for my sixth year at Washington Elementary School, and another year of teaching fourth grade. This will be my fourteenth year teaching in Westwood and my twenty second year teaching altogether. Before I came to Westwood, I taught 6th grade Middle School Special Education in Greenwich, CT. I also taught 2nd grade and Kindergarten when I lived in Connecticut. I received my Bachelor's Degree from St. Joseph's College in Patchogue, NY. I also received my Masters Degree in Special Education from Southern Connecticut State University and my Masters Degree in School Administration from Scranton University.
I have been married for twenty two years and have two phenomenal children. I also have an adorable dog who is 7 years old.
When I am not teaching, I am coaching, watching, or playing sports. I am currently coaching my 20th soccer season (not all at the same school). I was the Athletic Director at my two previous school districts and coached basketball, soccer, baseball, tennis, and cross country as well. I play the trumpet in my free time and love photography. During the summer time, I am the Assistant Director for Crane Lake Camp. I look forward to getting to meet all of you and working together throughout the year to have a championship Fourth Grade season!!!
