Hint: There is nothing that is more important than your health and wellness. Your physical and mental well being are your roots, your foundation. I could not be doing what I love every single day, teaching all of you, if I didn't have my health and well being.

Classroom Expectations & Grading Policies
Course Description: Health education is a continuum of learning experiences that enables students, as individuals and as members of society, to make informed decisions, modify behaviors, and change social conditions in ways that are health enhancing and increase health literacy.
Materials Used for Health & Wellness Class:
Chromebooks
Pens/Pencils
Paper (Can be provided)
Grading Policies:
Grading Scale:
90-100% = A 40% of Grade = Classwork Assignments
80-89% = B 30% of Grade = Projects, Tests, Quizzes
70-79% = C 30% of Grade = Participation
60-69% = D
Below 60% = F
Individual Assignment Evaluation:
All assignments will be evaluated using the same criteria:
Completion, following of instructions, thoroughness, effort
Accuracy of Information
Neatness (including legibility) and Organization
Make up policy: If a student is absent, the student has one day for each day of an absence to make up work. Students are responsible for making arrangements with the teacher to receive make up work.

Be in your assigned seats by the time the bell rings
Come to class prepared - Chromebook Charged
Ask before moving to charge your laptop
Be respectful, positive, considerate of yourself and others
Submit work on time
Keep your hands to yourself
Complete all work individually unless instructed otherwise
Do not distract others while completing independent work
No games to be played on Chromebook when work is assigned
No Cell Phones, Airpods, other electronic devices allowed in the classroom
