• The math workbooks will be kept at home. 

•  Please refer to student planners to check which page is assigned. 

• Generally I will assign the back and front sides of one page.

• Please tear out the appropriate page, have your child complete the assignment, tear it out of the book and return to school each day.

• Homework will also be updated daily on our classroom REMIND app.

• Students are expected to read for at least 15 minutes each night.

• Book baggie will be sent home so that students have plenty of "just right" reading material at home.

• Please feel free to read beyond what is sent home in the book baggie!

• It is VERY important to return book baggies to school EVERY day!!

• Red word rings will remain in the book baggies and should be reviewed each night.

If your child seems to know those rings well... mix them up:)

• Each Monday, students will be given  a packet that includes a list of words that fit our weekly phonics rule.  

• Each night for homework, the students must complete 1 assignment from the Word Work Packet.

  • Monday- Read the list aloud to an adult 2 times 

  • Tuesday- Write the words

  • Wednesday- Read the passage 

  • Thursday- Complete the comprehension questions.  Remember to answer with complete sentences.
