Hello! I’m Jessica Alley, and I’m so excited to be one of the third grade teachers at WWA!
I first fell in love with Woodrow as a parent, and now I get to be part of the magic from the other side of he classroom. I’ve taught kindergarten and second grade, and now I’m thrilled to dive into all the fun and learning that comes with third grade!
I’m originally from Oklahoma, but in 2016 I moved here shortly after marrying my husband. These days, we stay busy (and entertained!) with our three young kids. When I’m not in the classroom, you can usually find me playing games with my family, watching movies, reading a good book, riding bikes, or enjoying the great outdoors.
I can’t wait to get to know your child and share a year full of learning, laughter, and growth together!

I am Mrs.Nelson, and I have dedicated the last 15 years of my career in education to the Woodrow Wilson Academy community. It has been a true honor to serve in various grades and positions during my tenure; this school is a remarkably special place. Outside of the classroom, I cherish time with my husband, Jack, and our little boy, Benjamin. As a family, we stay busy managing our reptile shop, exploring the Denver area, and playing with our dogs.
