1st - 6th Grade Field Day
(With assistance from 8th grade helpers, parent volunteers, and our amazing specials team!)
This year it will be held on Friday, September 25th. The schedule for viewing is below. Keep in mind that the main events will be held at Oakhurst Park. If you would like to watch the events at the middle school field, (corner of N Lark Bunting Dr and W 94th Ave), please stick to the outside of the chain link fence for watching so the students have enough room to compete on the field.

Field Day - Friday, September 25th
Oakhurst Park:
8:10-9:50 1st/2nd Grade - 5, 20 minute stations
10:00-11:15 3rd/4th Grade - 5, 15 minute stations
12:50-2:30 5th/6th Grade - 5, 15 minute stations PLUS tug-of-war
Middle School Field:
8:50-9:50 3rd/4th Grade - 4, 15 minute stations
9:55-10:15 2nd Grade - 2, 10 minute stations
10:20-11:20 5th/6th Grade - 4, 15 minute stations
*5th/6th Grade will also have a 75 minute field day session on the playground but due to space and classes, parents will not be permitted to attend that session.

Appropriate physical education attire:
Shorts under skirts
Non-marking Gym Shoes (tennis shoes)
Students will lose 5 points a class for unsafe shoes which can include, but are not limited to - crocs, sandals, open toed shoes, shoes/boots with heels, snow boots, dress shoes, ect.
A positive attitude and your full participation and effort.

PE Grades
PE Grades
Points a day:
1st-6th grade will earn 30 points a day, 7th-8th will earn 15 points a day. Student’s will earn all points if they participate 100%, show good sportsmanship, follow all directions and class rules, treat equipment with care and use it in an appropriate manner.
The student will lose points if they are:
Unsafe, put others down, breaks gym rules or expectations, is disrespectful to teacher or classmates, shows poor sportsmanship, is unwilling to participate in the activity, or shows poor effort during the activity. If the poor behavior continues, more points will be taken from the daily grade.
If a student does not have tennis shoes on, the student will automatically lose 5 points. We want this to be a safe environment for everyone and any other type of footwear is potentially dangerous for themselves and/or others and the gym floor.
