Pourquoi le français? In addition to learning about a vibrant culture and history in France and many other Francophone countries and regions, there are many reasons to study French at Walnut High School.

We are the only World Language that offers a National Honor Society at WHS.  Walnut High has had a chapter of the French National Honor Society since 2019 and we induct new members every spring semester. Keep good scholarship in French, and you can receive an invitation to join in French 3 or French 3 Honors.

We participate in a fun Manie Musicale - similar to a March Madness tournament for French music.

We have a French Club as well!
