Welcome back to French! I hope that you are excited and energized for a new school year!  I am happy to have returning students and students who are new to my class. Be sure to read your syllabus and prepare yourself for class every day. Do not wait until assessment time comes to practice, as you can be practicing French every day. Listen to music, watch YouTube videos (I'll have recommendations for you), read things at your level, and practice speaking aloud. 

In our heads, we all have a perfect accent, but if you aren't speaking aloud and trying to sound like a French speaker, French speakers may not be able to understand you. If you need help, come in as soon as possible. Waiting until the last minute will not result in the grades you want to earn. It is up to you to earn the grade that you want this year.
