Late Work Policy

How to Turn in Late or Missing Assignments

1.  I do not get pinged when students turn in work past the deadline so it is their responsibility to trigger a notification by filling out the Assignment Notification Form below. 

2.  Unless explicitly stated otherwise, assignments are due before the end of the period on the day students have class with me. 

3.  Those who need more time due to special circumstances must obtain permission before class is over. 

4.  Penalty for Late Work: Assignments that meet the standards for the assignment will earn 60% of the quality grade.

5.  Only a maximum of three late assignments will be accepted each semester. Students who are in danger of failing should contact me privately to work out a make-up schedule.

6.  All late work must be completed and submitted a week before the end of the term. 

7.  The day students complete the Assignment Notification Form below is the day the assignment is considered submitted. No credit will be assigned until this form is submitted. 

8.  Late assignment grades will be updated before final report cards for the term are issued. They receive last priority. If you want your grade to be as current as possible, turn in your all work on time!

Do not email or send messages through Google Classroom to notify me of missing work. Sometimes these messages go to my spam folder.
