West Valley School District #ramstrong
Ram Flex is a program designed to give students a different, more flexible path to success. It’s built to support all kinds of learners and helps you build skills, confidence, and readiness for whatever comes next—whether that’s graduating, earning your GED, going to college, starting a career, or developing your talents and interests.
Some students join Ram Flex mainly to prepare for the GED, while others take GED classes along with regular high school courses. This mix allows you to keep moving forward toward your goals, whether that means building job skills, exploring careers, or continuing to grow in areas you care about.
Classes meet Monday through Thursday, and you choose either the morning session (8:00–11:00 a.m.) or the afternoon session (11:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m.). You’ll do a combination of online work—using programs that give clear explanations and practice—and offline work like writing, note-taking, and problem-solving on paper. This balance of digital and hands-on learning makes it easier to stay focused and see progress.
Teachers in Ram Flex are here to help you succeed by focusing on three big ideas: purpose (understanding why your learning matters), mastery (building your skills step by step toward your GED and beyond), and autonomy (learning to take charge of your own progress, with choices in how you work and practice managing your time). With these tools, you’ll be supported in reaching your goals and preparing for your future.
