Google Classroom
Below are various help resources for the platform Google Classroom. Updated frequently for the latest information.
Students must be logged in with their school email and GSuite password before accessing google classroom OR joining a teachers classroom.
Passwords can be reset by emailing us at WVSDmail@wvschools.net or by calling (717) 647 - 2167 Extension 1400. If communicating via email make sure your email subject is Google Password Reset and the body of the email includes the student name, and grade.
Keep the password(s) in a secure location and do not share your passwords.
Joining Google Classroom: Options
Option ❶
On the class dashboard, you will see a tile for each class you have been added to by your teacher. Click the blue join button in each tile to join that class. When you click the button it will open that class. To get back to the dashboard, click the three horizontal lines in the upper left (main menu) and select "Classes."
Option ❷
Your teacher may give you a class code
At the top, click Join class.
Enter the class code from your teacher and click Join.
Note: Class codes are 6-7 characters, and use letters and numbers. Codes can’t have spaces or special symbols.
Option ❸
Your teacher may have sent an email invite: (HIGH SCHOOL ONLY)
Click on the invite in your school email. Follow the prompts to sign into classroom using your school email.
On the class tile, click join.
