Chromebook Login Instructions

• Be sure the device is plugged in and/or charged

• Open the Chromebook

• The Chromebook will automatically boot

• When prompted, join the Chromebook to your home Wi-Fi network 

• At the login screen, enter your Williams Valley Google username (WV Email address) 

• When prompted, enter your Williams Valley Google password 

• You will then be taken to the Chrome desktop

• Open Chrome browser to access the internet OR open the Chrome apps  (drive, slides, sheets, etc) 

CHROMEBOOK TROUBLESHOOTING 

My Chromebook was plugged in but will not power on? |  *Please check for power lights on the side indicating the device is charging (amber/teal)

My Chromebook has no charging light and will not power on?  | *Hold in the power button and the refresh key for 30 seconds -- try booting 

My Chromebook logs me out after I close the lid |  *This is a new district setting implemented for security measures  for device filtering
