Students can earn points by completing one or more of the extra credit items below, those points are added on top of the total grade. However, no points will be deducted for students who do not receive a score for extra credit. Extra Credit indicates "bonus" items, or optional credit. Extra credit assignments must be submitted before grades need to be finalized in any particular Quarter. Assignments cannot be done multiple times by the same student. If you have completed and passed all the below extra credit assignments, then you have earned all the available extra credit offered. And finally create a video of no less than 10 minutes long, of you and a couple peers acting out a summarized version of the show's events. You can watch anime online free, there are many sites. Google it. After creating the video it will take a long time to download and send, so do this assignment early, if you have a self-imposed deadline.

Some good movie examples might be Titanic, Pearl Harbor, Schindler’s List, Troy, and Gettysburg. Make sure the movie you choose is age-appropriate that you have parent permission to watch it.
Pick a movie based on a true story—or an historical event. Then watch the movie and compare the events in the movie to the true events that occurred in history.
You have the choice of writing a comparison and contrast essay or creating a slide with the information comparing and contrasting the movie with the facts.
Be sure to include your name, the date, your class, the name of the movie, a summary of the facts in your own words (as researched) and a summary of the movie in your own words. Then give your thoughts.
Watch the video, and write an article about a famous person in your country or culture. You could choose a famous (dead or alive) sportsman, politician, actor, fashion designer, musician, writer etc.

Remember: Include a headline and byline. Articles should be written in third-person point of view. Each quote along with its attribution, should be in a paragraph by itself. Pay close attention to spelling and grammar.
Set up a social media profile for a historical figure. You should create the biography for the individual, including an “About” page that lists the individual’s experiences, favorite things, family, etc. Be sure to include a profile picture and job information, hometown, and more. Depending on the type of social media used, be sure to include at least five pieces of relevant content/posts/images for the profile as well.
All information should be written in your own words and based on facts.
Keeping COVID-19 protocols in mind, attend a lecture, performance, or conference to learn about something new. Create a collection of images or a picture collage with cutlines or descriptive captions for each image. Include what you learned, favorite moments and why you attended the event. Be sure that the collage/collection has at least 10 images and also include a ticket stub of your attendance at the event. You can search your local area for academic events with college professors, authors, and/or more. You can use any file type of your choice to create this piece.
