We do this by: developing young leaders; building awareness and connections to community services; and advocating for equity across race and ethnicity. The Youth Promotor Internship, a project funded by the CA Department of Public Health and the Sonoma County Mental Health Services Act (MHSA), seeks to address the mental health, emergency preparedness, civic engagement, and environmental education inequities in the Latinx community of Sonoma County.
