This searchable blog from UC Davis is a great resource for learning about the possible career paths of many majors (even if you aren't headed to UC Davis). Most students pick a major based on a small amount of information, but the more you know the more likely you can choose a major that is a good fit for you and your career plans.

Recent entries include explanations of career paths for cognitive science major and spanish majors. Some entries might also open up new major possibilities, such as this one on how a sociology major might be a good entry into global business.

Jobs Made Real is a website developed and owned by Chop's Teen Club, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Santa Rosa, California. The website features thousands of videos of people doing their jobs and provides statistical data on job forecast and career information. Jobs Made Real was designed to engage, educate and inspire teens to learn about jobs and careers in a way they like to learn. Their tag line "By Teens For Teens" is the direct result of receiving input from dozens of teens on the look, feel and content of the website.
