I graduated from Fresno State with a B.A. & M. A. in Literature. I graduated with my Teaching Credential from University of Redlands. I have worked as an English Teacher for 5 years.
I love being a teacher and I also love being a writer. I practice writing whenever I have time to develop stories within a fantasy world.
I have one husband, two children, one dog, one snake, and one large fish tank with 5 fish and a coral banded shrimp. I've been married for over ten years. My son is 8. My daughter is 2. My dog is 9.
I was married and lived in Southern California for a while before having my first child. Being a parent is incredibly rewarding. Also, I reflect on how I want to raise my children and how I want my children to be taught. I consider each child that steps into my classroom an extension of that child I have at home, that each child is loved by a mother like me and deserves more than we could ever give. However, I try to be the kind of teacher I hope my son deserves. Although, I do believe that some of his teachers are possibly too nice to him. He's a little wild.

Some of my hobbies include writing. I write a lot. I typically write about dark and conflicted characters. Also, other hobbies include gardening, being crafty, scrapbooking, playing with my children, video games (when I don't have children), and reading. I also like to talk about literature and writing in general in order to make those characters as conflicted as possible.
