Welcome to WUHSD Student Support Services: Student Well-Being!
Student Well-Being provides services to students who present with social-emotional concerns that are impacting their learning, such as depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, unhealthy relationships, grief and loss, and family distress. We offer individual and group counseling to students. We also provide case management services and help connect families to resources in the community. These services are provided by Master’s level or Bachelor’s level social work interns, trained and supervised by Licensed Clinical Social Workers or licensed staff.
Our program primarily serves students that are uninsured, or have challenges with accessing services through their health insurance. If your student is insured, we can assist in connecting your student to counseling services. Because this is a school counseling program, there may be certain situations in which it may be in your child’s best interest to be connected to specialized services that can better meet their needs.
