Get to Know the Program!
What Is PREP?
PREP is an after school program which provides academic and enrichment programming such as tutoring and clubs that students can participate in for free.
Enrichment Opportunities
Students have the opportunity to engage in any of the clubs offered at PHS. These clubs run Monday through Thursday and provide students with extra support and well rounded curriculum focused on rel world applications. Some clubs offer certification, credits, or community service hours. Student voice and choice is at the forefront of each club and PREP provided opportunities for students to create their own clubs.
College/Career Workshops
PREP has multiple workshops and entrepreneurship events to help students expand their knowledge post graduation. These events are completely free and some clubs offer certification and resume Building.
Field Tip and Community Service Opportunities
PREP Offers students the opportunity to attend educational and engaging field trips to college campuses. Other trips also include community service opportunities and extra credit for their classes.
Family and Community Engagement
PREP also offers services and workshops for parents of students. These workshops will be held twice a semester. See the Newsletter for more Information on events. PREP also offers opportunities for parents to be a part of the process with the new Parent Advisory Board (PAB) to help serve our community and students better.
