2024 Budget
District voters approved the $5,065,839 Wheelerville Union Free School District budget for the 2024-25 school year on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, by a vote of 85 to 12.
Residents approved a bus purchase proposition by a vote of 90 to 7.
Mike Frasier was elected to the district’s board of education to a three-year term running from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2027. He was the only candidate. We had one write in vote.
This budget represents a spending increase of 1.17% and carries a 1.28% property tax levy increase.
The budget will maintain all academic programs. “We would like to thank the community for their continued support. Wheelerville is a special place that values education and student success,” said Nicole Dettenrieder, Superintendent of Schools.
