There will be a public meeting on Monday, June 8, 2026 at 5:45 PM to review the School District Wide Plan and the School Level Plan

The Wheelerville Union Free School District community has once again demonstrated its strong commitment to our students and school community. Voters approved the District’s $5,248,308 budget for the 2026–2027 school year, ensuring that we can continue providing rigorous academics and high-quality curriculum opportunities while maintaining all current staffing positions. The results were as follows: proposition 1 budget vote 79 yes 17 no, and for proposition 2 (Establish a Capital Reserve) 81 yes and 15 no.

In addition, write-in candidate Sandra Fielding had 16 votes to fill an open Board of Education seat for a three-year term effective July 1, 2026.
