I HAVE INCLUDED A CHART AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE TO HELP YOU UNDERSTAND AND FOLLOW THESE EXPECTATIONS. 

What happens if I don’t follow rules and expectations?

Of course that won’t happen!😁  If by some wild chance it does, you will receive the following consequences:

1st Offense: Warning/Discussion

2nd Offense:  Warning/ Discussion/Phone Call Home or Principal Referral depending on issue

ALL OFFENSES WILL BE DOCUMENTED ON GENESIS AS PER WMS POLICY.

What materials do I need to have with me each day? 

I make it easy for you! Your binder, independent reading book (from my library or yours), and pencil case (which is clipped into your binder) will stay in the classroom. 

What about homework?  

You will read every night! 

Any work that is not completed in class will need to be finished at home

Keep up with your grades and assignments on Genesis (NOT Google Classroom.)

What if I have late assignments?

You shouldn’t have any late assignments, but if you do:

- Each late assignment will lose 10 points for every day it’s overdue.

- The lowest grade you can get for an assignment submitted after 5 days is 50%, which is still better than a zero, so make sure to get it in!

- No assignment means a 0.

What happens if I am absent?

• Try to get in touch with a classmate that night to see what you missed.  

• See me before class or during independent reading time. 

• You have 2 days for every day you were absent to make up the work.
