1. Homework will be accepted late. There will be a 10 point deduction for each day the assignment is late. Once the unit closes, no late work will be accepted.
2. All work must be neat and complete. All answers must be written in complete sentences unless the directions state otherwise.
3. All papers must be written in blue/black ink or typed.
4. All compositions, research papers and essays must contain proper documentation to receive credit. Plagiarism and a contract will be part of the opening week instruction.
5. The following grading system has been adopted by the Board of Education for R Track classes:
Minor Assignments: 50% Major Assignments: 50%
· Minor assignments (worksheets, vocabulary definitions, outlines, rough drafts, comprehension questions).
· Major assignments (essays, research papers, projects, presentations) must be turned in on time.
6. The grading system for SUPA classes will follow the district guidelines for C level (college) courses:
Minor Assignments: 25%
Major Assignments: 75%
7. The following comprise your grade: tests, compositions, projects, quizzes, oral presentations, notebooks, homework and attitude.
