Classroom Expectations

RULES AND PROCEDURES
No food or drink is permitted in the gym. Water bottles are an exception.
No hats or hoods are allowed to be worn.
Students will not be permitted to go to their school lockers during class. If a student needs to go to their locker to get their gym clothes, they will not be allowed to go. They will be marked unprepared for the class.
Gym attire is necessary for everyday activities. You must be prepared and participate every day for a daily class grade.
If a student needs to use the bathroom during class, they will ask a teacher and use the bathroom outside of the gymnasium. If a student uses any other bathroom in the building it will be a write up for Hall Roaming.
GRADING
If a student is on a field trip or activity that is school related, that day will be excused.
If a student is absent from school: The first two absences are excused. Anything after two, your grade will automatically deduct 5 points. You can make up absences by writing a 1 page biography on any athlete. Every day missed, can be made up.
If a student is suspended or on Medical, you will lose points every day. You can make up those points by writing a 1 page biography on any athlete.
If a student is on Medical they will spend their Block in Study Hall.
Cell Phone Policy
When in gym, it is STRONGLY ENCOURAGED for students to leave their cell phones locked in their gym locker. When activities begin, all cell phones and headphones must be put away. If a student is asked to put their phone away and does not it will result in a write up for administration.
NO CELL PHONES OUT DURING ACTIVITIES!!! NO HEADPHONES IN DURING ACTIVITIES!!
Health Expectations
If a student needs to use the bathroom during class, they will use the bathroom in the D-Wing. If a student uses any other bathroom in the building it will be a write up for Hall Roaming.
Students are expected to bring their chromebook everyday to class charged and ready to use.
All assignments must be turned in on Google Classroom in a timely manner. Every assignment will have a due date. Any assignments turned in late will lose points.
If a student is absent or suspended, you will have two days to make up the work.
You are expected to participate in class discussions regularly
