Grading Scale

Grading scales:  Minimum 20 minor, 5 major per M.P.

S/R Level - 50% Minor, 50% Major

Honors Level - 40% Minor, 60% Major

AP Level - 25% Minor, 75% Major

The above grading scales are set by the district.  For our class purposes, anything that is not a test or what is specified as a major project will be counted as a minor grade.  You will have fair warning for when a major grade is coming up.

As for late work, our class policy will be as follows:

• If you are absent you will get a day extension to complete classwork or homework from that day.

• Any late homework outside of absenses will lose 10 points per day late.

• Any late homework handed in 10 or more days late will receive a 0 for not being attempted.

• Any classwork that you are present for but is not completed and returned in class will lose 20 points per day and will receive a 0 after 4 days for not being attempted.

• Any Major project submitted past the due date will lose 20 points per day late and will receive a 0 after 4 days of not being attempted.
