Mr. O’Halloran’s Rules and Expectations
Respect school property (books, desks, computers, etc.), the classroom, the teacher, each other, and yourself. Do not sit on the windowsill; chairs only.
Personal belongings are not allowed on your desk. Class materials only.
Be on time. If you are not in your seat when the bell rings, you are late.
Do not leave your seat without permission.
Do not be disruptive; raise your hand to speak in turn.
Do not use inappropriate or offensive language verbally or written. Suffice it to say, some things are not appropriate for school.
Cell phones will only be permitted under the auspice of in-class research when approved by the teacher. (Read: only when I say so, and you must be on task.) Otherwise, turn them off, and put them away. They cannot be on your desk.
No earbuds in class or in hallways as per administration.
No food or drinks permitted in the classroom. The only exception is a clear water bottle.
Use the bathroom when you need to, but try not to go during active instruction. Only one person will be permitted to leave the room at a time per the administration. You must use the nearest available restroom, which is usually the one on the 3rd floor. No exceptions.
