Winter Percussion

Winter Percussion is offered weekly during the wintertime and allows for student ranging from beginners to veteran performers the opportunity to develop their skills at playing percussion instruments.  Students willfocusing on cadences and grooves while working on rudimental proficiency, teamwork and performance practice.

Competitive Indoor Percussion is a dynamic and competitive musical activity that combines percussion instruments, movement, and theatrical elements within an indoor setting. It typically takes place in a gymnasium or auditorium and features a diverse array of percussion instruments such as drums, marimbas, xylophones, vibraphones and various auxiliary percussion. Performers, often organized into ensembles or groups, use these instruments to create intricate and rhythmic musical compositions.  This is offered select years based upon student interest and the availability of space.
