About Ms. Skiba

I have been working here at Colonia Middle School for 15 years now teaching Language Arts and Friday's Friends.  I went to Rutgers University in New Brunswick and Thomas Edison University in Trenton. I have teaching certificates in Elementary K-5, Middle School Language Arts, Middle School Math, Psychology and Teaching Students with Disabilities.   I love being an 8th grade teacher and helping my students prepare for high school.  It's a big step in their life and I hope to ensure that they are prepared for a great future! 

 I am recently married and have a wonderful son, and an amazing "bonus" daughter and sons.  I also have a wonderful yellow Lab named Basha and a spunky chocolate Lab named Duke.  

I am looking forward to getting to know you all this year as we explore new adventures!  Remember, working together we can accomplish anything!
