Hi Families!

Welcome to Mawbey Street School #1!  My name is Allison White, and I go by Ms. White.  I absolutely love being the school Counselor at Mawbey!  Prior to becoming a school counselor, I taught in the district for Eleven years.  I taught Kindergarten, Third Grade and Fourth Grade.  I am the school's anti-bullying specialist as well as the advisor for the Junior National Elementary Honor's Society.  I am a member of the Intervention and Referral Services Team and 504 committee.  In addition, I am one of the facilitators of the Mawbey Math Program that services the third graders at Mawbey as well as the Family Science Program that services the fourth graders.  I am the Co-Chair of the District's Elementary Task Force as well as a rep on our District Instructional Council.

I am a product of Woodbridge Township.  I attended the Woodbridge Township Schools from Pre-School all the way up to High School. I love teaching in the same district where my Educational  Journey began.  I am a graduate from Montclair State University.  I have my  B.A in Family and Child Studies: Family, Children and School Settings: K-6 Elementary Education and a Minor in Public Health.  I received my M.A from Georgian Court University in School Counseling.  

Some of my favorite interests and hobbies are spending time down the shore, watching the Buffalo Bills and New Jersey Devils, spoiling my nieces, and spending time with my family and friends!
