This year, students will deepen their understanding of concepts included in Language Arts, while also learning new skills and concepts. 

In class, we will focus on how texts are developed using various literary techniques, annotating texts, and identifying themes and central ideas, among other skills. Additionally, we will also learn about different types of writing and eventually master writing them ourselves. These types of writing are literary analysis, narratives, and argumentative essays.
