Guidelines for Behavior in Room 303:
Everyone will have the chance to participate, express their opinion or contribute as long as respect for all is maintained.
All language, spoken or written, must correspond to Woodbridge High School’s rules for conduct.
Raise your hand to let Mr. Switek know you have something to say or ask or to respond to a classmate.
Assignments must be completed on the document posted to Google Classroom or on the material from Mr. Switek. (You cannot create documents and submit them.)
Sharing work, copying peers’ work, or using another person’s or A.I.'s work and claiming it as your own (plagiarism) will result in a “zero” grade for that assignment.
No electronic devices (other than Chromebooks) are to be present in the classroom:
Woodbridge High School will enforce a bell-to-bell prohibition on the use of cell phones and other personal electronic devices, from the start of the school day through dismissal. This includes cell phones, earbuds, headsets, headphones, and other internet-enabled devices. Students are expected to have their devices silenced and securely stored and may not wear earbuds, headsets, or headphones during the school day.
The purpose of this policy is to reduce distractions, improve student engagement, and create a school environment where students can focus on learning and interacting with their peers.
Progressive Consequences
• 1st Incident: Warning; incident documented in Genesis.
• 2nd Incident: Parent/guardian contact; phone/device secured in a the main office; incident documented.
• 3rd Incident: Administrative parent/guardian contact; cell phone pouch for 5 school days.
• 4th Incident: Administrative parent/guardian contact; 1 day in an alternate class setting and cell phone pouch for 10 school days.
No food or drinks (except for water) are to be present in the classroom.
Bag policy: no bags larger than a clutch/wristlet. You will leave those items in your locker; if you come to class with your bag you will be sent to your locker. If you are back after the bell, you will be counted as late.

Writing utensil (if you choose; our work is done through the Chromebook)
Notebook for the sole use of our class. (if you choose; our work is done through the Chromebook).
Attendance Policy:
9 Lates to class = Loss of credit
2 Lates= Disciplinary Action
2 Cuts = Loss of credit
8 Unexcused Absence= Loss of Credit
Emergency Drills:
Fire Drill – close windows, turn off lights, lock the door and go down the main entrance (out the door and to the right) stairway. After the fire drill is over you are expected to come back up the main entrance stairway.
Lockdown “Door” – all out of view from door; door locked, lights out
Lockdown “Windows” – all out of view from the windows, door locked, lights out
Shelter in Place – continue class with doors locked and shades closed
Evacuation – silent fire drill
