Meet Mrs. Pinto
About me
Hello! My name is Christine Pinto. I'm a lifelong resident of Woodbridge Township. I am married to my husband of 24 years. I have two children as well as a dog & a cat. My favorite color is orchid. I also love spending time outdoors and volunteering. I believe strongly in investing in my community.
I am delighted to be your child's teacher this year! This is my fifth school year as a preschool teacher at Lynn Crest. Prior to becoming a teacher I spent 5 years working as a paraprofessional in the Autism program. I was so inspired by our students and faculty that I chose to become a classroom teacher. I am currently enrolled in The Graduate School at Montclair State University where I am completing the Master's program in Early Childhood Education (P-3). I completed my undergraduate degree at Montclair as well.
In addition to myself, there are three paraprofessionals in the classroom to support the educational needs of the students. Throughout this year the students will be focusing on gaining foundational skills. A strong foundation will assist them in lifelong learning. We will focus on pre-academic skills, social skills, life skills, and independence. The students will experience play based learning and group instruction, as well as individualized instruction. They will participate in activities such as learning centers, story time, movement activities and crafts.
I look forward to getting to know you and your child, and building our classroom community!
