Hi! My name is Carla Pimienta and I will be your child's Third Grade teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. This is my eleventh year teaching in  Woodbridge Township School District. I have previous experience teaching first, third, fourth, and fifth grade. I am a graduate of JFK High School in Iselin & even purchased my childhood home in Colonia!

I am a graduate of Montclair State University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, teaching K-6, with Advanced Standing. I am also a graduate of Grand Canyon University with a Masters degree in Elementary Education. 

I am very involved in the school community. I am the PTO Teacher Representative and Reflex Math Coordinator.  I am certified in Orton Gillingham, a Class Dojo Mentor, and a Seesaw Ambassador.

I enjoy spending time with my son (Christopher) and my husband (Mr. Pimienta). Some of my interests and hobbies are playing with Christopher and my dog Bentley, reading, watching funny movies, and spending time with family and friends! My favorite color is pink, my favorite food is pizza, and my favorite movie is The Little Giants!
