Learning Expectations

As an educator, I value a positive and productive learning environment that embraces open-mindedness, respects others, and allows people to learn, make mistakes, and express their opinions without ridicule or judgment.  In order to create and maintain a positive and productive learning environment, I ask that you agree to the following terms:

IN-PERSON LEARNING EXPECTATIONS

• Be on time and prepared with your District-issued device fully charged.

• Be visibly present and alert; participate in class. 

• Silence your phones and put them away; listen to others. 

• Complete all "class-work" assignments during our class time.

• Maintain academic integrity. Any form of plagiarism or cheating will result in a zero.

• Refrain from eating, drinking, or grooming during class.

• Remain seated in class until the meeting ends.

• Above all~ Be courteous and respectful to your teacher, classmates, and visitors. We are here for each other.

ADDITIONAL REMOTE LEARNING EXPECTATIONS

• Turn your Microphone off ~ And your Camera on for the duration of the class.

• Think about Presentation ~ 

  1. Find a good spot in your home with few distractions.

  2. Sit at a table or desk ready to participate.

  3. Dress appropriately for school.

• Chat Responsibly ~ Stay on topic in the chat. Be polite, appropriate, helpful, and respectful.
