Hello! I'm Jo Fitzsimmons and the 2025-2026 school year will be my sixteenth year at Pennsylvania Avenue School #27. After serving as our Literacy Coach for three years and teaching second grade for four years, this will be my ninth year teaching fourth grade. I love sharing in the learning experiences of my students! I want my students to feel cared for and excited to come to school each day. My goal is to continue their love of learning, in our classroom and outside its walls. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, sons, family, friends, and our two dogs! Oh, and I'm a big baseball fan. Let's Go Mets!
