Course Description

In art class, we will explore a variety of art techniques, materials, and styles. We will work on different projects throughout the year to give you experience with many types of art, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art. We will learn the basics of art while also having the freedom to be creative and try new things. Through hands-on projects and class discussions, we will learn how art can be used to share ideas, feelings, and personal experiences 

Objectives

·       Develop basic art skills using a variety of materials and techniques.

·       Encourage creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking through art.

·       Learn about different artists, art movements, and their connections to culture and   society.

·       Create a classroom environment where students feel comfortable sharing ideas and working         with others.
