*This week we will be celebrating School Violence Awareness Week. Throughout the week, we will be participating in activities that are geared toward the prevention of school violence. It is important to remember the reason for School Violence Awareness week and to encourage students to understand that violence is not the answer to anything not only this week, but everyday. 

Monday 10/16/2023 -

•  Officer Sanchez will be making classroom visits throughout the week to introduce himself to the Avenel Middle School community. He will be picking a grade daily to conduct classroom visits. 

Tuesday 10/17/2023 -

• Travis Manion Foundation, "If not me, then who ..." character ed presentation for 6th grade.

• Detective Zeno will be coming the following week for a presentation for the 7th and 8th grade (10/26)
