Dear Families,

Sometimes the right book is all it takes to nurture a child’s love of reading. That’s why I’m pleased that our class will be participating in Scholastic Book Clubs this school year. Scholastic Book Clubs allow for parents to provide quality books for their students at low prices – sometimes even as low as $1!

Each month, you will receive new book order flyers in your child’s folder. You are under no obligation to buy books, but if you do decide to purchase, I encourage you to choose books with your child. Discuss which books interest them and why. Ask your child what their favorite book was that we read in class together - there might be something that interests them enough to purchase. Conversations like these are great ways to encourage literacy in your home.

If you wish to order books, please return the order form from the back of the flyer along with the cost of the order.
