Class Policies, Rules & Expectations 

Class Policies, Rules and Expectations:

Students must be ready with all materials for every class and rehearsal. Please be prepared with your instrument, music, folder, supplies (reeds, valve/slide oil, cleaning swabs, etc.) and a pencil EVERY DAY.

Students are expected to be respectful of others at ALL times.

Students are expected to be on time for class and every rehearsal. We waste valuable instructional time and concert preparation when you are late.

Students are expected to be in control of their instrument and behavior at all times. 

Students are expected to raise their hand if they have a question or concern. Talking during class or rehearsals will not be tolerated.

Do NOT touch or play ANY instruments or materials that do not belong to you.

Anyone leaving class for ANY reason must first ask permission and then take a pass.

Gum, food, and/or beverages (other than water in a CLOSED CONTAINER) are NOT permitted in class at any time. 

All students must join their grade level Google Classroom.

BAND communication - Make sure students AND parents/guardians sign-up for these notifications.  The link is found under the “Home” tab. 

Copies of handouts, music resources and information on music stores can be found under the “Handouts & Links” tab.

All expectations in the student handbook and internet usage apply to our classroom. Make sure you are aware of all school policies.
