FMS currently offers THREE performing ensembles:
* Concert Band (6th graders)
* Symphonic Band (7th & 8th graders)
* Wind Ensemble (audition required/open to all grades)
REHEARSAL SCHEDULE
TUESDAY Concert Band 3-4PM
THURSDAY Symphonic Band 3-4PM
FRIDAY Wind Ensemble 7:10-8:05AM
Attendance is required at ALL after school rehearsals. If a student is absent for any reason, a written note explaining the absence is required.
Participation in any of the above ensembles is a commitment through the end of the school year on June 23, 2026.
Two unexcused absences from any rehearsal may result in dismissal from an ensemble.
Transportation = Late buses are available for students who normally take the bus home after school. All others must walk home or arrange to be picked up at Door 14 by 4:00 PM.
In the event of extended rehearsals (3-5 PM), buses are NOT available at 5:00 PM. Transportation must be provided.
