Choir: Everyone is welcome to join! No audition necessary.
Choir Rules: You have to want to sing and you have to show up to rehearsals
When: Mondays
What time: 3:00-4:00 PM
Where: FMS Cafetorium
Choir meets by grade as a class during MP1 & MP3. We will meet after school on Mondays starting in October.
In Choir we will work on breathing exercises, warm-ups and singing in 2 & 3 part harmony. Individual and ensemble singing, Tempo, Dynamics as well as all other aspects of a musical performance. Choir calendars are sent out in person, via the "Remind" app. as well as posted on this site's main page. Please make sure you are signed up for "Remind" for each ensemble your child is in. Codes & Links to sign up, are on the Home page.

Chorale: This ensemble sings harder music and is by AUDITION ONLY. Students must be in Choir & submit a signed permission slip in order to audition.
When: Mondays
What time: 4:00-5:00 PM (No buses at this time)
Where: FMS Cafetorium
Showstoppers: This ensemble Sings & Dances at the same time. Students must be in Choir AND pass both the singing & dancing auditions to be part of this ensemble.
1st Showstoppers Rehearsal is Monday, January 6, 2025 at 7:15 AM Sharp!
You must arrive no later than 7:10 AM in order to report to the stage to start rehearsal promptly at 7:15 AM.
When: Monday-Thursday
Time: 7:15 AM- 8:00 AM
Please wear clothes and shoes you can move and dance comfortably in.
***The 1st Choir Rehearsal for all 3 grades combined will be on Monday January 13, 2025 from 3:05-4:00 PM. Late buses will be not be available until October 1, 2024. For the 1st rehearsal ONLY, all singers must walk or provide your own transportation. As of October 1, 2024 there will be a late bus for those who normally take a bus. All others must walk or provide your own transportation.
***The 1st Chorale Rehearsal is Monday, January 13, 2025 from 4:00-5:00 PM. No buses are available. All must walk or provide own transportation. (See Audition information below)
***The 1st Showstoppers Rehearsal is Monday, January 6, 2024 at 7:15 AM Sharp!!! No buses are available. All must walk or provide your own transportation. (See Audition information below)

Girls: Black Dress Pants, White Dress Shirt/blouse, Black Shoes/socks
Guys: Black Dress Pants, White Dress Shirt, Black Shoes/socks, Tie
Showstoppers: Black Dress Pants, Black T-Shirt under White Dress Shirt, Black Jazz shoes, black socks.
