Language Arts Honors

Honors Requirements:

When in honors, students must maintain at least a C average for every marking period.  If the student shows signs of earning less than a C as the end of the marking period approaches, the teacher will meet with the student and alert the school counselors.  Should the student earn less than a C, or demonstrate a poor attitude and work ethic the student’s status will become probationary; the teacher will meet with school counselors and contact parents/guardians to let them know that the student can be removed from honors at the end of the year should the student continue to earn less than a C or demonstrate poor work ethic or attitude.
