Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year!
This year we will explore some of the most wonderful aspects of Language Arts. This includes: reading, writing. discussing, channeling your creativity with fun projects and so much more!
When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my family, reading, drinking coffee, going to the beach and going on adventures! In addition to teaching 8th grade Language Arts and Creative Writing, I co-coach the WMS Cheer team alongside Mrs. Liastro.
This is my ninth year teaching, and my fourth in Woodbridge Township. Prior to coming to Woodbridge, I taught at risk teens in Perth Amboy.
I graduated from UNLV with a Bachelors in Literature and Journalism and I received my Masters in Educational Leadership from Kean University. I began writing celebrity gossip for an online magazine and quickly felt unfulfilled by this career. My passion has always been with literature and writing. I began substitute teaching at a local middle school, and fell in love with being able to make an impact on students. I went back and studied for my teaching degree through Rutgers University.
I have two amazing children. My daughter is in her fourth year at Rutgers, and my son, who is 11, plays travel hockey for the Woodbridge Wolfpack.
This year I am excited to transform my classroom into a place where students are excited to read and write, and are well-prepared individuals moving on to high school.
