A child's ability to establish and maintain healthy and rewarding relationships. Relationship skills include having connections with diverse individuals and groups. Proper relationship skills also includes good communication, listening, and resisting inappropriate social pressures.
Students are better able to learn and apply SEL knowledge when it is practiced and reinforced both in the school and the home.
